Novice - Forward skating, forward sculling, snowplow stop and foot glide
Intermediate - Forward stroking, forward crossover, skating backwards and one foot glide

Children under the age of 6 are required to bring and wear a helmet (bicycle or hockey).
Price: $90.00 per session per applicant
The Program is 6 weeks, which includes skate rental, 30 minutes of group instruction and 60 minutes of practice time.
Payment is due in full at time of registration. No refund once lessons begin. (Registration ends Wednesday, January 7, 2009)

We do offer sled hockey on Sunday mornings from 9:30am-10:30am beginning January 6, 2008. The cost is $5 which includes the use of equipment. Reservations are required. Sleds are not available for use during public skating sessions.
The cost to have blades sharpened on your personal skates is $6.00.
Discounts are available for groups of 15 or more. Groups can be scheduled during any public skating session except Friday and Saturday evening 6:00-8:00 p.m., or 8:30-10:30 sessions. Click here to make a GROUP RESERVATION
The rink offers unique, customized fundraising opportunities for your organization. Skate and earn money at the same time. A portion of the proceeds from that event or skate session goes back to the organization/charity. Click here to request detailed information on fundraising parties for your school, church or organization. Fundraising opportunities are not available Friday or Saturday evenings 8:30-10:30 p.m.
Parties can be held during any public skating session. Birthday parties are $13.95 per person with a minimum of 10 guests. Package includes: admission, skate rental, use of party room, and free children’s admission pass to visit the Rink another time. Each guest has a choice of one of the following: slice pizza, soda or hot chocolate & chips; hot dog, soda or hot chocolate & chips; nachos, soda or hot chocolate & chips. Reservations are required (no outside food or beverage is permitted, with the exception of a cake.)

Photography
Penn’s Landing Corporation hires professional photographers to photograph events, activities and landscapes along Penn’s Landing for use by the Penn’s Landing Corporation and certain regional organizations and media to illustrate articles, advertisements, promotional materials, Web site or any other media used to promote Penn’s Landing. By attending an event at Penn’s Landing, you agree to the following terms of use and authorize the potential use of your photograph.
By attending a public event at Penn’s Landing, and I agree to allow a professional photographer hired by Penn’s Landing Corporation (and identified as such) to photograph me and to provide the photograph(s) to Penn’s Landing Corporation for its use and the use of certain regional organizations and media to illustrate articles, advertisements or informational and promotional materials about the Philadelphia region in print, broadcast, video or online media.
Visitors understand that they do have a right to deny the photographer permission to take my photograph at the event or ask the photographer to not use or allow the photographs taken of myself or my family to be used for future promotional use. By attending an event at Penn’s Landing, visitors understand that the Penn’s Landing Corporation may enlarge, reduce or crop the photograph(s) but will not otherwise alter or distort the image.
By attending an event at Penn’s Landing, you agree that the photographer owns the copyright in the photograph(s) and visitors claim no right to payment of any kind for the use of the photograph(s), alone or in combination with other images, by the photographer or by Penn’s Landing Corporation for the purposes that they have agreed to permit.
No. There is no need for advance requests for weddings. As with any visitor to Penn’s Landing, we want to make sure their experience is memorable and comfortable. We want to accommodate them so they look forward to their return trip.
Visitors are permitted to take photos with any type of cameras, even during concerts and festivals. The new camera policy at Penn’s Landing we will not prohibit cameras or photography on-site, even during events, concerts and festivals.
Penn’s Landing will also NOT prohibit or need advance notice for any guests of the Hyatt, Moshulu or Chart House to take professional photographs outside their properties.
Penn’s Landing will require advance notification and planning for any productions which include full blown movie or technical crew on-site filming or taking modeling photographs. These cases or requests should be forwarded to the Director of Public Relations.

During events media photographers will be permitted in front of the stage, yet are not permitted on the stage or inside the music production area to take photographs.
As a participant in the programming season at Penn's Landing, Festival Organizers agree to allow Penn’s Landing Corporation (PLC) to take photographs of event participants (e.g., vendors, entertainers, etc.) during the event for use in printed and electronic promotional materials including but not limited to the following: brochures, magazines, newspapers, trade journals, booklets, pamphlets, newsletters, advertisements, signage, multimedia products, publicity, supplementary literary materials, websites, etc. Festival Organizers also consent to permit PLC and its licensees to duplicate, distribute, exhibit, or otherwise use the materials or any portion of them in perpetuity and without limitation. Festival Organizers will release PLC, its licensees, and assigns from any liability arising from the use of images and authorize the use of images for PLC marketing purposes listed above.

Ferry Season
The ferry season runs Saturdays and Sundays only in May and September with daily service between Memorial Day and Labor Day. There’s even express evening service for SusquehannaBank Center events, with ferry service available 30 minutes after events end.
